In the summer of 2019, Ci Renee Swim hired me to join the team as her assistant instructor. Being born and raised on Long Island, and growing up in a house with a pool, my parents found it essential for me to start swimming lessons at the age of 1. By the time I was 3, I was swimming on my own and completely water safe. As years went on, I developed a deeper love for the water and decided to get my lifeguard certification at the age of 16. For the past two seasons, I have worked as an instructor for Ci Renee Swim, teaching children ranging from 7 months - 10 years old. I truly enjoy spending my summer alongside Ciara, teaching children how to respect/enjoy the water and having fun while doing it. My patient, kind, and gentle approach, makes our younger clients feel safe and comforted as they learn life saving skills and proper swimming technique. I look forward to teaching more clients water safety so that parents are able to feel reassured and relaxed when their children are in or near water, knowing they have the skills they need to both enjoy the water and remain safe.
